Many animals have ears, but the structure and placement of the ears differ between species. In cicadas, the ears are located on the legs and in mosquitoes on the antennae. Some salamanders hear with their thorax and lungs. It is generally accepted that our ears are sometimes upright and sometimes hanging on the head, on the right and left, somewhere between outside and inside. While it is easy to close our eyes, our sense of hearing does not usually leave us alone, which does not mean that we should always trust it…
