Photo competition as part of the exhibition Something Other Than Photography: Photo&Media
The exhibition Something Other Than Photography: Photo & Media at the Edith-Russ-Haus takes a critical stance on, among other things, the excessive to arbitrary capture of everything visible with the camera. This is why the theme of our photo competition is UNBEMERKT|UNSICHTBAR.
Anyone who enjoys taking photographs has one month to submit a photo on this theme. All photographic techniques may be used and combined for the competition. However, the final product must be submitted as an image file. The file can be submitted from July 15 to August 12, 2013 at daten(at)edith-russ-haus.de.
Only one photo may be submitted to the competition.
The file must meet the following criteria: JPEG format (level 10), type RGB, color profile Adobe RGB, 8 bits, resolution: 240 ppi. Maximum file size: 5 MB
On the Night of Museums on September 7, 2013, the digital photos submitted will be projected in the seminar room of the Edith-Russ-Haus from 9 pm. The 20 winners will then be announced and awarded prizes. Voting for an audience award will also be open from mid-August via the Edith-Russ-Haus Facebook page.
