Katharina Sieverding and Klaus Mettig

16. March 2005, 18:00

Artist talk

In their works, Katharina Sieverding and Klaus Mettig deal with socially relevant themes such as identity, individuality, society and the technologization of man and nature. In the media of photography, film and video, they often also deal with images conveyed by the media, such as images of refugees and war. They share an interest in initiating a dialog through reflective observation. The artist talk as part of the exhibition “ULTRA ENDURA Katharina Sieverding Klaus Mettig” offers the opportunity to engage in this dialogue with the artists themselves.
The joint exhibition of selected works from both oeuvres also makes it possible to recognize and discuss the content and aesthetic references of the works. In addition, the exhibition catalog will be presented on this evening.
