Lecture

On October 5, 2007, Kristin Lucas became the most current version of herself when she was granted a name change from Kristin Sue Lucas to Kristin Sue Lucas in a Californian court. She justified her application by saying she wanted to “refresh” herself. In her presentation, Lucas talks about the strategies she uses to understand the implications, limitations and benefits of being the newest version of herself. She spoke with legal experts, philosophers, media theorists, epistemologists, geneticists, twins, double agents, reincarnation believers, and more.
