The artist Taus Makhacheva is very interested in superheroes. So much so that she sometimes becomes a superhero herself. She wonders what actually makes a hero or heroine in real life: what are their true “superpowers”? Together we will look at Taus Makhacheva’s exhibition and think about who your superheroes and superheroines are, what they look like and what characteristics they have. You will then design your own heroes and bring them to life in a short animated film.
