As part of the exhibition Black Dogs and Red Forests at the Edith-Russ-Haus, the question quickly arose as to what kind of history of colonial and imperialist thinking the city of Oldenburg actually has. Does Oldenburg even have such a history? And if so, where can traces be found? Do they extend into the present?
