Presentation of the works from the workshop with Werner Nekes.

The first workshop took place from November 1 to 10, 2000 under the direction of experimental filmmaker Werner Nekes and in cooperation with the Carl von Ossietzky University. The theme, which revolved around the history of the “shadow”, met with a great response. The concepts presented in a preliminary event in autumn 2000 were realized for a presentation in the Edith-Russ-Haus for Media Art. The participants showed works from the fields of video art, slide and shadow projection, short film and computer art.
