Graham Harwood: “Free-Media / Social-Telephony”

In his lecture “Free-Media/Social-Telephony”, Graham Harwood will present current activities of the London project “Mongrel”, which he founded. “Mongrel” is involved in social projects, which, according to Harwood, “sometimes leads to art, sometimes to software, sometimes to workshops or to helping other Mongrels realize their things. We use any technological advantage we can get our hands on.” Free-media means that someone makes art, does things or says things without spending (much) money, using public domain or free software and recycled equipment.
