Maria Blondeel, multimedia artist from Belgium, realizes her project BV-1080 in a bus. Using photocells and oscillators, she integrates the light and architecture of the landscape she is driving through into the sounds of the vehicle. The sounds of the engine mix with the weather. During the day, the clouds provide variety; at night, lamps give the bus a beat and drive.

Part 2: Meeting point Fliegerhorst, Alexanderstr. 461, 20.15 (assembly point entrance gate)

BMBcon: Air base project

BMBcon, a trio of artists from Holland, perform their site-specific piece at the destination of the bus trip, the Fliegerhorst, a former military airbase on Alexanderstraße in Oldenburg. In this ghost site, the hangars of the past stand next to grazing sheep that currently use the area. BMBcon will explore this special place and, in keeping with their credo of not performing any piece twice, will provide surprising sound experiences.

Duration of the event: approx. 2 hours – incl. bean soup (spicy but without sheep)
