Music 3 deals with contemporary ideas about percussion, hitting and being hit as well as the questions: “Why?” and “With what?”. The first veil will be lifted for the participants of the workshop followed by a bicycle excursion (please bring your own bicycles!). In the evening, those who are more passive can enjoy an opto-acoustic treat as part of the concert version of the work.

8 p.m. Concert version of Travelon Gamelon for six bicycles

Travelon Gamelon”, a bicycle orchestra and at the same time a classic of electro-acoustic music (first performed in Boston in 1978), will be created as part of a workshop. After a bicycle tour through Oldenburg and the performance of the work in public space, there will be a concert performance with three bicycles under the direction of Richard Lerman at the Edith Russ House for Media Art in the evening.
