The spectacular performance by Berlin-based Ricoloop must be experienced live. Rico works with a loop station. He plays various sounds, which he creates either with his voice, his guitar, a bass, a harmonica or even by blowing into a beer bottle, into his loop station and the result is beautiful, organic-sounding tracks. He can overdub an infinite number of layers, picking up on any spontaneous idea and letting it inspire him live. Without computers, drums or effects, Rico creates incredible sound collages that suggest a whole band on stage…but Ricoloop is a one man jam!
