Robots work in industry, they can help around the house or play soccer. You want to build a robot too, but how? This workshop is aimed at children and young people aged between 10 and 16. Participants will learn how a robot works and how to build and control such a mobile “creature” themselves. Simple building blocks are used to assemble robots that move and make sounds. The aim of the workshop is for the robots built to perform as an orchestra. No previous knowledge is required.
Final presentation: May 17, 2009, 5 p.m. in the lounge of the Edith Russ House for Media Art
