Under the motto “Trans…ition!”, the Edith-Russ-Haus for Media Art and the Autonomous Feminist Department of the University of Oldenburg invite you to take a practical look at gender categories in a mixture of guided tour and workshop on the second weekend in June.<\/p>\n
Together with theater pedagogue Meike Schr\u00f6er and cultural scientist Lou Kordts, we leave the binary of gender categories behind us and find new, queer-feminist interpretations of the current exhibition “Wild – Transgender and the Communities of Desire”.<\/p>\n
Playful elements invite you to physically empathize and empathize. Gender is artistically and theatrically deconstructed and reconstructed, unhinged and made visible in multi-layered variations. <\/p>\n
The event will take place twice, namely<\/p>\n
