The book will be presented by the authors and the designer from 7 pm: Georg Imdahl, Nomaduma Masilela and Markus Weisbeck . The discussion will be moderated by the publisher Ga\u00ebtane Verna, director of The Power Plant, Toronto.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>About the publication<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This bilingual and internationally distributed release from Mousse Publishing follows Pfeifer&#8217;s first comprehensive solo exhibition in Canada \/ North America, which took place at The Power Plant, Toronto, from June 22 to September 2, 2019.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition was curated by the director Ga\u00ebtane Verna with the support of Nabila Abdel Nabi.<\/p>\n<p><em>If you end up with the story you started with, then you&#8217;re not listening along the way <\/em>contains essays by Georg Imdahl on the artist&#8217;s socio-political investigations and by Nomaduma Rosa Masilela on Pfeifer&#8217;s first live performance work. A conversation between Pfeifer and award-winning Canadian filmmaker Stan Douglas interweaves historical and contemporary themes of image production, music, pop culture and contemporary politics.
