Nuclear energy is uncontrollable<x id=\"gid_2\"><\/x>and incompatible with the guaranteed protection of the population. I also demand<br \/>\nthe immediate decommissioning of all nuclear power plants worldwide!  <\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/edith-russ-haus.de\/uploads\/RTEmagicC_PICT0002_1.JPG.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">* Radioactive substances can travel from the<br \/>\nplanned nuclear power plant via the air to my home &#8211;<br \/>\ninto the air I breathe and the food I eat.* I fear contamination and<br \/>\nradiation from leaks, accidents and earthquakes. A nuclear power plant would<x id=\"gid_3\"><\/x>cause the production and storage of nuclear waste and require the transportation of uranium and<x id=\"gid_4\"><\/x>nuclear waste. The risk of transportation accidents,<x id=\"gid_5\"><\/x>plane crashes and attacks is increasing. There is no absolutely secure protection<x id=\"gid_6\"><\/x>.* Even during &#8220;normal operation&#8221;, nuclear power plants release radioactivity.<x id=\"gid_7\"><\/x>In Germany, a 2007 study by the Federal Office for<x id=\"gid_8\"><\/x>Radiation Protection documented an increase in cases of leukemia in young children living near nuclear power plants.
