At the same time, it is the theme of a practical <x id=\"gid_3\"><\/x>workshop at the Edith Russ House for Media Art, which is being held in cooperation with the <x id=\"gid_4\"><\/x>Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg. Kirsten Geisler will introduce the workshop with a <x id=\"gid_5\"><\/x>theoretical discourse on the &#8216;realm of media-generated illusions&#8217;<x id=\"gid_6\"><\/x> and then accompany the participants <x id=\"gid_7\"><\/x>during the first practical realizations of the respective projects <x id=\"gid_8\"><\/x>. Special knowledge and experience in dealing with hardware and <x id=\"gid_9\"><\/x>software for computer animation are not required. Rather,<br \/>\nan interdisciplinary way of working is envisaged, which allows freedom in the<br \/>\nchoice of materials as well as the technical medium.    <\/p>\n<p>\n Participation in the workshop is free of charge. The Edith Russ House for Media Art<br \/>\n is providing a limited number of apartments for the   <\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>participants are available. We expect a short curriculum vitae for registration.
