{"id":7656,"date":"2025-11-16T15:43:44","date_gmt":"2025-11-16T14:43:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/edi-typ-24154.stage.sites.vh3-schrittweiter.de\/veranstaltungen\/on-behalf-of-cooperation-with-the-carl-von-ossietzky-university\/"},"modified":"2025-11-27T08:23:21","modified_gmt":"2025-11-27T07:23:21","slug":"on-behalf-of-cooperation-with-the-carl-von-ossietzky-university","status":"publish","type":"event","link":"https:\/\/edi-typ-24154.stage.sites.vh3-schrittweiter.de\/en\/events\/on-behalf-of-cooperation-with-the-carl-von-ossietzky-university\/","title":{"rendered":"on behalf of &#8211; cooperation with the Carl von Ossietzky University"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p>In collaboration with Cornelia Sollfrank, the Edith-Ru\u00df-Haus for<br \/>\nmedia art and the cultural scientist Rahel Puffert, a<br \/>\ngroup of students from the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg<br \/>\nsucceeded in persuading seven artists to each provide a<br \/>\nmulti-part work in screen printing for the exhibition in the university&#8217;s main building<br \/>\n. In one case<br \/>\nheirs of a deceased artist were found<br \/>\nand persuaded to participate in this unique project.   <\/p>\n<p class=\"vspace\">The artists&#8217; works reflect their<br \/>\ncurrent creative status in terms of choice of motif, compositional ability and<br \/>\ntechnique and provide a comprehensive overview of the<br \/>\nvariability of expressive possibilities. Thus, figurative<br \/>\nworks, abstract and expressionist works as well as neo-conceptual<br \/>\nand interventionist approaches are united in an exhibition that could not be more contradictory<br \/>\n.\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"vspace\">The artists taking part in the exhibition<br \/>\nmay not be international celebrities, but<br \/>\nhave often achieved some success in their respective fields.<br \/>\nThe special achievement of the exhibition &#8220;on commission&#8221; is that it takes into account the<br \/>\nbiographical situations and their impact on their life&#8217;s work in a special<br \/>\nform. The knowledge of the highlighted<br \/>\nartist&#8217;s personality helps the viewer to decode the works<br \/>\nand gives her direct access to the works.\n<\/p>\n<p>The different works enter into a dialog with each other in the lecture hall center at<br \/>\n, which is intended to overcome the boundaries of art genres<br \/>\n.
